Why Rio?
In 1992 world leaders met in Rio de Janeiro for the United Nations Conference on environment and Development to create the vision of sustainable development as guideline for the 21st century. 26 years later world leading researchers and stakeholders will come to Rio de Janeiro for the main world conference about hydrogen energy, to discuss the most promising technologies towards sustainability.

Why Brazil?
Brazil is one of the leading countries worldwide in the use of regenerative energy in large scale. In 2016, 82,8 % of electricity was produced from renewable sources, offering a wide range of sources for a clean and sustainable hydrogen production.
